Christian Education
Let the little children come unto me.
Mark 10:14
|
|
 |
Behold,
children are a gift of the LORD, the
fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand
of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is
the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed
when they speak with their
enemies in the gate.
-- Ps 127:3-5

About the Christian Education Program |
|
It is the mission of the Christian Education
Department of the Colebrook Congregational Church to teach our children
through the word of God how to serve their family, their church, and
their community both at home and abroad. We have been called by
God to minister to all people through acts of love and kindness.
It is our mission to prepare our children as the next generation of the
Colebrook Congregational Church. |

Sunday School is before Church Service from
9:30 – 10:15. Sunday School begins with a sermon from Pastor
Alice, the Lord’s Prayer and
an offering that the children bring to the altar with the Deacons.
The children then go to their classrooms where we use a grade style
curriculum, Bible Quest, from Cokesbury. The classes are broken out
into the following grades: Preschool, K-1, 2-3, and 4-6 with
Confirmation classes beginning October 9, 2005 with Pastor Alice. The
children are welcome to join the congregation for Church Service
following Sunday School. |
